I’ve used the I-CubeX with the Touch sensors mounted in a kind of "floating" stage floor. The data from the sensors were used to trigger short (5 – 20 second) midi sequences, as well as triggering single notes on a sampler and then modifying filter response according to sensor input.

The greatest strength of the I-CubeX, in my opinion, is that it makes it easy to hack your own sensor devices. And it’s really easy to use.
