The "Unfound Door", a sound sculpture, video, light and text installation by Charles Bestor, composer and video design, Barbara Cornett, sculptor and John Wade, lighting and structural design. The prose poem that opens Thomas Wolfe’s "Look Homeward, Angel" provides the thematic basis for this 30’ by 30’ installation.

The I-CubeX tracks the movement of the viewers as they travel through the sculptural space and trigger the electronic musical score and text, the video projections, the lighting and the physical movements of various sculptural elements.

Commissioned by the College music society and premiered at the society’s national conference in Cleveland in November, 1997. An eastern and southern states tour is being organized for 1999 – 2000 beginning at Ohio university, Athens, OH in September, 1999.
