Detects rapid light changes or light flashes.
Detects up to 1000 Lux (5.0 mW/cm2) within a 20°-wide cone field of view.
See this videoclip for a demo of the Flash applied together with the SeeLaser !
Application examples
- Use for light source intensity measurement, map to a continuous controller and sweep your filters.
- Use with
SeeLaser (red beam), SeeLaser-IR (invisible beam) or
SeeIR
(invisible beam, but for a distance less than 1 m) to create a break-beam that triggers when you cross it.
Laserharp anyone ? Create a virtual cage for dancers.
Or detect intruder, visitor, dog, cat, mouse .... movements.
- Combine with a
TapTiled floor,
some MoveOn
and/or ReachClose
sensors and make sure every move of your visitor has an effect.

Application notes |
When using the sensor for detection of point light sources and proximity detection, remember that
ambient light needs to be regulated so as not to interfere with the desired operation. |
