- MacOS X 10.7 (Lion) or higher on Intel, or Windows 7 or higher.
- On Windows only: LoopMIDI virtual MIDI port software.
- On Windows 10 only: Visual Studio 2013 redistributable packages (install both 64 bit and 32 bit versions if you're on a 64 bit system).
- A digitizer with firmware v5 or higher, including applicable interfaces and drivers.

- If the virtual MIDI port created by Connect is not available in an application, quit and restart Connect. You may also have to restart the application.
- On Windows, Connect only uses LoopMIDI's virtual MIDI port driver, so installing LoopMIDI is all that's needed. There's no need to create any ports in LoopMIDI nor to even run LoopMIDI.
- On Windows, Connect needs to have created virtual MIDI ports for I-CubeX digitizers BEFORE any software is started that needs to access these virtual MIDI port(s) that were created by Connect.
- The Bluetooth pairing code is "0" for Wi-microDigs running Firmware 6.40 or higher and "1" otherwise. On recent MacOS versions no pairing code is needed, but on Windows it is still required to complete the connection.
- Upload firmware to a WiDig, USB-microDig or Wi-microDig (MacOS only).
- Manage connections to multiple USB-microDigs, Wi-microDigs, iCubinos and other serial devices.
- Route all communications with each WiDig, USB-microDig, Wi-microDig, iCubino or other serial device via a virtual MIDI port.
- Map the sensor output of a WiDig, USB-microDig, Wi-microDig, iCubino or other serial device to OSC messages.
- Map the sensor output of a WiDig, USB-microDig, Wi-microDig, iCubino or other serial device to a webhook URL address for IoT (Internet of Things) applications.
- Control actuator outputs of a WiDig, USB-microDig, Wi-microDig, iCubino or other serial device with OSC messages.

- Keep virtual MIDI ports once created, even if the digitizer is disabled, unplugged or otherwise disconnected.

Please notify us if you encounter a bug or issue.
- If your digitizer's identifying numbers are incorrectly stored in the digitizer, the software may show unexpected behaviour. The label numbers are shown on the bottom of the digitizer. Use ResetDig (MacOS 64bit / Windows 64bit, MacOS 32bit / Windows 32bit) to restore these numbers as per the label (except for the firmware number if the firmware was updated).
- On Windows 10, if the File check button in the lower right corner of the main window isn't visible click "Refresh".
- On Windows 10, removing a digitizer from the list of devices and re-adding it by clicking the Refresh button may result in popup window advising that the virtual port cannot be created. Retry refreshing, or restart Connect to work around this issue.
- On Windows 10, adding a Wi-microDig may require re-adding it first as a Bluetooth device via eg. the Windows system tray dialog before Connect can communicate with it. Once the Wi-microDig appears in Connect's digitizer view, you may need to mute, and then un-mute the Wi-microDig before sensor data is received.
- On Windows 10, it may not be possible to add both a Wi-microDig as well as a WiDig. Please contact us if you encounter this issue.
- On Windows 10, if you are notified that MSVCR120.dll and MSVCP120.dll are missing, install the Visual Studio 2013 redistributable packages.
- On Windows 10, if you can't (re-)connect with a Wi-microDig, it may be necessary to re-create the Outgoing serial port, in the Bluetooth settings under "More bluetooth options", in the tab "COM ports".
- The addition of other serial devices, including I-CubeX compatible ones (ie. iCubinos but not USB- or Wi-microDigs), is experimental and has been tested with only a few Arduino boards. If a device is not shown in the device list, please advise us.
- Connect v1.5.2 (MacOS) may not succeed in connecting to the digitizer before starting the upload of new firmware. We are working to resolve the issue. For now, restarting Connect and trying again should work around the issue.
- Connect v1.5.0 (MacOS) can't update USB-microDigs with hardware v7.0 - use FirmwareX instead.
- Connect v1.4.5 (Windows) may notify you with an error message when you attempt to connect both a WiDig and a Wi-microDig. This is a bug and we are working on resolving it. Please wait for the next update.
- Connect v1.4.3 or lower (MacOS): (Un)plugging a digitizer while Connect is starting up or refreshing the list of digitizers may result in incorrect display of the status of the digitizer that was (un)plugged.
- Connect v1.4.3 (MacOS 10.12), the icon of Connect may not be visible in the taskbar. Run Connect v1.4.1 instead. Alternatively, starting from the right in the top task bar, find the first empty space (no icons), and then clicking in this space on the taskbar. You may be able to find the Connect main menu.
- Connect v1.35 (Windows): if you unplug then re-plug the Bluetooth adapter while Connect is running, existing Wi-microDig entries in the device list can't be enabled. Restarting connect results in new entries in the device list of these Wi-microDigs. Remove the disabled entries that are no longer usable.
- Connect v1.35 (Windows 8.1), the application window may be too small to show all the user interface widgets.
