This cable allows you to use the WiDig or USB-microDig's AUX outputs for actuators (eg. for controlling a Switch), even when you are using the input from the same slot on the input/output connector for a sensor. Comes with two pieces of heatshrink to secure the connectors together.

Technical specifications

Product AuxCable
Version 1.0 (2014)
Length 20 cm (7.9 inch), shielded
Weigth 12 g (0.42 oz)
Connector type 1 male plug with a row of 3 pins spaced 2.54 mm ( 0.100 inch) and 2 female plugs with a row of 3 sockets spaced 2.54 mm ( 0.100 inch)
Application information
  • Use one of the two heatshrink sections to secure the connectors together. Slide the heatshrink section over the female connector of the extension cable. Plug the male connector of the sensor into the female connector of the extension cable. Apply heat evenly to the heatshrink using a heatgun (a hairdryer will also work) to shrink the heatshrink section so that it tightly covers the two connectors (also see the picture on this page). The second heatshrink section is a spare for future use.
