This is the classic joystick. Use it to tweak, tweak and tweak those sounds. Performance oriented. 5 mm ( 0.2 inch) range, unlike the Push2D and Push3D sensors the Push2D-NE is a non-elastic input device, ie. it is not spring-loaded so will stay in the position it is placed and won't return to the middle position when not touched.

Application examples

  1. Make a huge joystick (see also this detail) out of it and hang it from the ceiling. See how it's used in this video.
  2. Create a fancy control panel by combining Push sensors (Push, Push3D), Reach sensors (Reach, ReachClose), Slide sensors (eg. Slide-50, Slide-200, Slide-500, SlideRound, SlideWide), Touch sensors (Touch, TouchMicro-05 TouchMicro-10, TouchMini, TouchMiniOn, TouchStrip) and Turn sensors to name a few.

Software support

  1. Our EditorX software allows you to configure the digitizer to process and map the sensor data of multiple sensors simultaneously.
  2. Our Link software allows you to receive the sensor data from the digitizer and use your computer to view, calibrate, record, process and map the sensor data of multiple sensors simultaneously.
  3. Our SensorX software allows you to receive the sensor data from the digitizer and use your computer to view, calibrate, record, process and map the data of a single sensor.

Application notes

  1. Output 1 is the X direction (left or right, if the Push3D is in front of you, with the knob facing up with the cable pointing towards you) and output 2 is the Y direction (away from you or towards you).
