A small electromagnet that can hold (or release) a ferromagnetic (eg. metal) object weighing at most 3 kg. Requires a GlobalAdapter-1201 and a SwitchPower or the Drive-FR120N to switch power to the actuator.
Application examples
- Keep a metal lid closed, or allow it to be opened.
- Hold an object (or a number of small objects) until somebody passes a ReachFar beam which signal is used to switch off the Hold-003 so that the object(s) is (are) released (drops down, rolls away, .. ).
