A widely used piece of software for game development. Unity is only available for Windows.
The example below is a modification of OSCJackVS. It allows you to control the size of a teapot with an I-CubeX sensor via OSC messages.
Example
- Download Unity_OscJackVS+ICubeX.zip and save the decompressed files in your Unity directory in Documents.
- Unless you have a WiDig configured to output OSC messages, run Connect before opening Unity and enable sensor input 1 as well as OSC output.
- In the Assets folder, click "Localhost" to set the OSC host IP address and port.
- Verify you are receiving the OSC messages by opening the OSC monitor under "Window" from the main menu.
- Press the play button to get the Teapot Flowgraph to run.
- Changing the value of the sensor connected to input 1 should now change the size of the teapot.
- To make changes to the control configuration, in the Assets folder click "Teapot+ICubeX" to open the scene, then click "Teapot" in the Hierarchy on the left panel of the window.
- Scroll down on the right panel of the window to click on "Edit Graph".
- Make sure to open the Flowgraph editor fullscreen or else you might not see the graph.
- Modify the Flowgraph as needed !
