Manage USB-microDigs and Wi-microDigs with the I-CubeX BlueMIDI software for Windows. A quick and easy way to organize digitizer communications via virtual MIDI ports.
Releases
17 Mar 2015: BlueMIDI v1.65 (Windows)
Please note that the posted zip file of a released version may be replaced by a newer file without notice, ie. without the newer file being tagged as a new version. If you encounter any issues with the software, please check back here to see if a newer file (ie. same version but dated more recently) than the one you are using is available.
Check the download archive page for older releases. An alternative to BlueMIDI is Connect. For MacOS, use Connect for MacOS. Not the right solution ? We have more software.
System requirements
- Windows XP or higher.
- Virtual MIDI port drivers. We recommend LoopMIDI (free), but LoopBe30 (not free) or MIDIYoke (not properly supported on Windows 7 and up) may also be used.
- A USB-microDig or Wi-microDig, including applicable drivers, is required.
Installation and user manuals, tutorials and tips
- BlueMIDI quickstart documentation.
- USB-microDig quickstart documentation can be found on its product page.
- Wi-microDig quickstart documentation can be found on its product page.
- Autoconnect only works with a Wi-microDig if there is only one Bluetooth serial port. You can uninstall other Bluetooth serial ports in the Windows device manager.
Features
- Manage connections to multiple USB-microDigs and Wi-microDigs using multiple instances of BlueMIDI.
- Route all communications for each USB-microDig or Wi-microDig via a virtual MIDI port.
Recently changes:
- Improved throughput for MIDI system exclusive messages (as used for host mode).
- Fixed autoconnect, even though it only works for one Bluetooth serial port.
Known issues
Please notify us if you encounter a bug or issue.
- Autoconnect only works with a Wi-microDig if there is only one Bluetooth serial port. You can uninstall other Bluetooth serial ports in the Windows device manager.
- If you encounter an error message popup window stating that MXMIDI32.DLL is missing you are using the BlueMIDI package that was released prior to 9 December 2014. Please re-download and use the package that was released on/after 9 December 2014.
