OCube Max Plugin-83 Setup

The oCube Max plugin file needs to be put in a location where Max can access it to instantiate it when the user creates an oCube object in a Max patch. You can also add the folder of your preference, eg. where you are working on a Max patch, to the Max search path which can be set under Options and then File Preferences.

MacOS

For Max 8: ~/Documents/Max 8/Library

For Max 7 and 6, the default location is the max-externals folder in the Cycling74 folder in the Applications folder, ie.

For Max 7: /Applications/Max7/Contents/Resources/C74/externals/max

For Max 6: /Applications/Max6.1/Cycling '74/max-externals

Windows

For Max 8: ~/Documents/Max 8/Library

For Max 7 and 6, the default location is the max-externals folder in the Cycling74 folder in the Program Files folder, ie.

For Max 7 (32 bit): \Program Files (x86)\Cycling '74\Max 7\resources\externals\max

For Max 7 (64 bit): \Program Files\Cycling '74\Max 7\resources\externals\max
