I have been using sequenceXtra and Director
in conjunction with the I-CubeX in various projects at
the Interactive Institute. These projects
include "Organism" (see picture), an interactive wooden
sculpture that was part of the Swedish pavilion at
Expo2000, and "A touch of Kandinsky", conceived by Halina
Gotlieb. It is an interactive carpet, woven after a
painting by Russian painter Kandinsky. Children crawl on
the carpet and experience sounds that emerge from
different figures in the weave. Apart from these, I can
think of a number of very exiting ways of combining
Director and I-CubeX.
