There are new versions of Connect for both Windows and MacOS.
These new versions fix a number of issues and implement "dark mode": turn on/off the MIDI in/out and power LEDs to save power and for less visible presence of the digitizer on stage or in an installation. Requires a digitizer with firmware 6.41, 7.41, 7.62 or 8.12 (see FirmwareX). The WiDig also requires new WiConnect v1.104 software.
Connect is the "swiss knife" of I-CubeX sensor input and actuator control:
- Configure and control digitizer sensor inputs and actuator outputs.
- Output sensor data as MIDI, OSC, web GET or POST requests, or save it as a file.
It also works with Arduino devices that run our iCubino sketch.
Go and capture that motion to control those media !
Need to trigger or control audio, images or videos ? Plug your sensors, then drag & drop your media into SensePlay !

Did you already get your WiDig ?
These videos show how to get started with the WiDig and how it can be used with GarageBand, Ableton Live, TouchDesigner and Cycling74 Max.
The WiDig is an interactive media design tool that features low-latency USB as well as BLE connectivity, support for (analog and digital) sensors as well as (analog and digital) actuators, and standalone (processed) as well as host (raw) mode operation. Use it with desktop computers as well as mobile devices.
Together with our Connect, EditorX, iCube/oCube and other API software it's a versatile tool kit supporting a variety of workflows to quickly build a control surface, MIDI controller, gestural instrument, motion capture tool, movement tracker, interactive object, responsive space, playful toy, game input device, .. you name it.
If you have any questions, we are ready to provide quick technical support and help you find a solution. All our products are backed by detailed online product documentation.
The new version of EditorX can now be used with all recent digitizers but requires you to update the firmware of your WiDig to 8.1, USB-microDig to 7.6 (or 7.4 if its hardware is older than 7.5), Wi-microDig to 6.4 or microDig to 5.4.
If you're on MacOS, update the firmware with Connect. If you're on Windows, use FirmwareX. While you're at it, make sure your USB drivers are up to date as well.
New in this release:
Solo: output the data from only one (virtual) sensor input. Handy when using MIDI learn !
Set the MIDI output range.
Map to the pitch, ie. note number, of a NoteOn message.
Support for the ReachFarD sensor.
Save & load settings for one (virtual) input only.
Improved overall usability.
