    • SlideWide (165 x 160 mm, 6.49 x 6.30 inch)
    • And that's not all .. still more can be made available upon request: Slide-12, Slide-25, Slide-150, Slide-1000 (12.5/25/150/1000 x 7.0 mm, 0.492/0.984/5.91/39.4 x 0.28 inch), as well as narrower (6.0 mm, 0.24 inch) versions of all straight Slide sensors and SlideRound sensor.

    Application examples

    1. Use as ribbon controller, perfect for your keyboard or DJ setup. Or check how Uwe Steger used the Slide.
    2. Because its width and length are the same, it can also be stacked to make a two-dimensional touch controller.
    3. Create a fancy control panel by combining Push sensors (Push, Push3D), Reach sensors (Reach, ReachClose), Slide sensors (see above), Touch sensors (Touch, TouchMicro-05 TouchMicro-10, TouchMini, TouchMiniOn, TouchStrip) and Turn sensors to name a few.

    Software support

    1. Our SensePlay software is a very easy way to quickly map sensor data to (sequences of) sounds, images and videos using a drag & drop user interface.
    2. Our EditorX software allows you to configure the digitizer to process and map the sensor data of multiple sensors simultaneously.
    3. Our Link software allows you to receive the sensor data from the digitizer and use your computer to view, calibrate, record, process and map the sensor data of multiple sensors simultaneously.
    4. Our SensorX software allows you to receive the sensor data from the digitizer and use your computer to view, calibrate, record, process and map the data of a single sensor.

    Application notes
    1. Touching the sensor at both ends for an extended period of time creates a short-circuit that may result in damage to the sensor. When mounting the sensor with eg. clamps, make sure that there is no contact force on the sensitive areas at the ends.
    2. The sensor can be trimmed so that multiple units can be placed adjacently, forming a multi-touch area. Please note that modifying the sensor voids any warranty we may provide.
    3. The sensor can be stacked on top of another sensor that's rotated by an angle (eg. 90 degrees) in the same plane to create a two-dimensional touch controller.
    4. The sensor is operational while bent. Please note that since the sensor wasn't designed to be used in bent form, we can't provide durability information and guarantee the specifications. There is a limit to the bend angle, ie. if the sensor is bent too sharply the material will crease and possibly tear.
