Hi, The problem you are having may be related to the running status mode on the digitizer when it is in Stand Alone mode. This running status mode prevents the digitizer from repeating continuously the midi status mode header (note-on, pitch bend, control change, ...). So, it sends the running statu...

Hi, Are you using any other MIDI applications when you start the editor? If so close all MIDI applications (such as Max, Reason, ...) to avoid a MIDI conflict. Are you also using the IAC driver, if so un-install/remove it to verify that this isn't creating a problem. Regards. -- Technical Support In...

Hi, If I understand correctly you start the I-CubeX aplication, you should see a splash screen showing I-CubeX initializing... then the MIDI out LED blink on the interface then nothing (meaning you don't get the editor environment or the MIDI connection window). Is this correct? Regards. -- Technica...

Hi,
I will need more information about the problem you have with the editor to help you adequately.
When you launch the editor do you get the MIDI connection screen? Can you select the port where the digitizer is connected? When you click the "check connection" button in the MIDI connection screen can you see that the MIDI out LED on your MIDI interface blink? When you connect the miniDig to the MIDI interface can you see the MIDI LED blink when you power up the miniDig?
To make a fast interactive setup I recommend that you use Max/MSP along with our icube object plugin (downloadable from our website). Host mode iCube/oCube Max plugins v2.01 available at:
http://infusionsystems.com/catalog/info ... pages_id/2
You can also find a Max tutorial and some example patches from our faq page:
http://infusionsystems.com/catalog/info ... pages_id/4
Regards.

regarding tap tile sensor
Hi,
The TapTile has a 0 to 5 volts analog output. By using the I-CubeX digitizer (or [Wi]miniDig) you can convert this analog voltage output to a digital value.
Regards.

Hi,
Did you try to build a new patch using the icube object, save it then re-open it? Does it still
crash when you do? Is Max crashing when you are building the patch?
Let me know.
Regards.

Hi, The Stand Alone mode of the I-CubeX digitizer allows only for sending one MIDI event per input. So you can get only one MIDI note-on for a sensor. A way around this would be to feed the signal output from a sensor to multiple inputs on the digitizer (using many HackCable). You could then program...

Hi,
Some of our sensors can be used in detecting the temperature of the body http://www.infusionsystems.com/products/hot.shtml. You could also get the relative humidity http://www.infusionsystems.com/products/hot&humid.shtml around the body or the breath pressure http://www.infusionsystems.com/products/air.shtml. As for building you own sensors we would be pleased to help you the best we can if you need to interface it with our digitizer.
Regards.

Hi,
For installations you can get any of our systems but for live performance I recommend the Wi-miniDig that allows you to move around wirelessly if your using sensors on your body (not fixed installation for example).
Regards.
