max external plug-ins for intel

Post by hebaamin »

I just bought the startup system and installed it on my macbook pro. The program seems to work fine but I can't seem to get the max external objects to function in max/msp. I downloaded the plug-ins from the website for my intel but it still doesn't work. The icube and ocube objects appear as unexecutable files and aren't recognized by max/msp. any suggestions?

We are working on updating the objects to work with intel-macs. For now there are two options:

1) Use the Digitizer in standalone mode along with the built-in MIDI objects just as ctlin, bendin, notein, etc.

2) We've made hostmode patches for the wi-microDig/microDig/Digitzer(8 channels) which can be found here:

Click on "max patches"

The software team is currently putting the finishing touches on v3.15 of the editor for Windows and v3.05 for OS X, and right after that they will move on to updating the objects.
