Stacking two SlideWide v1.1 to make 2D touch sensor..

Post by Steven Gelineck »

Hi,

I am thinking of buying two SlideWide v1.1 sensors in order to stake them, making a 2D touch sensor.
Is there anything I need to be aware of?
Do I have to separate them using some material in between?
Can I put a thin plate on top, or must the finger touch directly on the sensor?

Cheers!

You do not need to put anything in between. Both have an adhesive back, so you could stick one on top of the other, and then the bottom one to your surface of choice.
