Most class-compliant USB MIDI devices and adapters will work fine with the Raspberry pi. There are a number of ways to use MIDI:
- For C/C++ based projects, rtmidi works very well. Examples (tbd)
- openFrameworks has a MIDI addon. You can easily add MIDI sending to the our PiShield openFrameworks Example app. (exact process tbd)
- You can use MIDI in node-red, as documented here.
