This is the kind of cable you want to use if your I-CubeX cables need a little slack. Especially useful for extending cables of digital (I2C) sensors or actuators. A longer version of this cable is the ExtendCableD-10.
For single analog output sensors use the ExtendCable-01, ExtendCable-05 or ExtendCable-10. For sensors with two outputs, use ExtendCable2D-01. For sensors with three outputs use ExtendCable3d-01.

Application information |
Use one of the two heatshrink sections to secure the connectors together. Slide the heatshrink section over the female connector of the extension cable. Plug the male connector of the sensor into the female connector of the extension cable. Apply heat evenly to the heatshrink using a heatgun (a hairdryer will also work) to shrink the heatshrink section so that it tightly covers the two connectors (also see the picture on this page). The second heatshrink section is a spare for future use.
