Configure the WiDig for WiFi
The video below shows how to configure the WiDig for Wifi.

Important: To use this WiConnect WiFi version, your WiDig must run Firmware version 8.30.

Ghost mode
We released new versions of EditorX and Connect, both available for MacOS and Windows.

To make use of the new features of EditorX update your WiDig to firmware 8.30 and WiConnect 1.20 (MIDI via BLE or USB) or WiConnect 2.00 (OSC/WS via WiFi or MIDI via USB), or your USB-microDig to firmware 7.80.

If you're on MacOS, update the firmware with Connect. If you're on Windows, use FirmwareX. While you're at it, make sure your USB drivers are up to date as well.

New in this I-CubeX toolchain release (aside from bug fixes):
- Ghost mode, ie. the sensor input processes the data from the adjacent lower-numbered input but can be configured to map differently (enable via Shift-clicking the On button).
- Use lookup tables to filter out specific ranges of sensor values.
- Improved ReachOnD and ReachID handling and processing.

Any questions, contact us !

ChartX
We've updated ChartX to v1.10. It was written in the Python programming language. It displays sensor data in a chart, and can be used for all I-CubeX sensors. We intend to expand its feature set soon. Try it out and let us know what you think !

Touchdesigner
Are you wondering how to use I-CubeX with Touchdesigner ?

With the latest WiConnect 1.923 for the WiDig you can send/receive OSC via WiFi directly to/from Touchdesigner from/to the WiDig, no middle-ware needed ! Just configure the WiDig using its webpages.

When working via USB use ioCube, a Touchdesigner node that seamlessly integrates I-CubeX digitizers with Touchdesigner without middle-ware either, see the screenshot below and this guide for examples.

See also these videos showing even more ways to get sensor data from the WiDig into TouchDesigner wirelessly via BLE-MIDI or wired via USB and OSC.

The palindromic, ambigramic update.
It's a bit of special day, and not just because today's date is a palindrome as well as an ambigram: the date reads the same from left to right, from right to left and upside down.

So yes, special, but also because it's been a while since we released software updates: there are new versions of EditorX and Connect, both available for MacOS and Windows.

To make use of the new features of EditorX update the firmware of your WiDig to version 8.20 and WiConnect 1.20 or your USB-microDig to version 7.70.

If you're on MacOS, update the firmware with Connect. If you're on Windows, use FirmwareX. While you're at it, make sure your USB drivers are up to date as well.

New in this I-CubeX toolchain release:

- Map sensor input to 14-bit Control Change MIDI message pairs.
- Support for Orient5D and VoltD sensors.
- Support for CVolt and DriveM actuators.
- Improved and new methods for BioAirD, Magnetic3D, Orient4D and ReachOnD.
- Channel Voice MIDI message mapping to actuators. Send any of the MIDI messages that a sensor is mapped to, while I-O mapping is enabled, to the digitizer and control the actuator even if the sensor is turned off.
- Single pulse actuator output: turn an actuator on and it will turn off after a user-defined time, and vice-versa.
