Updates
We have updates for you. Download EditorX 8.1, iCube 4.1, oCube 4.1 - all for both MacOS and Windows, and Connect 1.6 for MacOS.

The new version of EditorX can now be used with all recent digitizers but requires you to update the firmware of your WiDig to 8.1, USB-microDig to 7.6 (or 7.4 if its hardware is older than 7.5), Wi-microDig to 6.4 or microDig to 5.4.

If you're on MacOS, update the firmware with Connect. If you're on Windows, use FirmwareX. While you're at it, make sure your USB drivers are up to date as well.

New in this release:

Solo: output the data from only one (virtual) sensor input. Handy when using MIDI learn !
Set the MIDI output range.
Map to the pitch, ie. note number, of a NoteOn message.
Support for the ReachFarD sensor.
Save & load settings for one (virtual) input only.
Improved overall usability.

Any questions, contact us !

WiDig
Want to make a funky controller for an app on a mobile device? Enter the WiDig. It's like a USB-microDig but with BLE (messages are sent and received as BLE-MIDI) as well as USB capability, so can be connected to iOS and Android, as well as regular operating systems like MacOS and Windows.

It shows up as a MIDI port when communicating via BLE so no fiddling with serial ports. When communicating via USB it does show up as a virtual serial port tho.

More features to be added soon through a firmware update: Pair the WiDig with a BLE-to-MIDI cable adapter and connect directly to your MIDI gear. Communicate via WiFi with OSC messages, and turn the WiDig into a wireless general purpose OSC sensor interface - with web-based configuration interface.

The WiDig is available as part of the WiSystem.

New firmware and Connect !
On 29 march a new build of firmware v7.51 and firmware v7.33 for the USB-microDig (with hardware v7.0 or greater) and firmware v6.33 for the Wi-microDig (with hardware v6.0 or greater) was released. These builds fix a few bugs and add an easier way to upload new firmware, which method is used by a new version of Connect v1.5.1. These new firmware versions address some compatibility issues with our other software and contain improved algorithms for digital sensors. If you're on a Mac, use the firmware uploader in Connect v1.5.1 (click on "Check firmware"). Or run FirmwareX to upgrade your digitizer. Then configure it with EditorX or Link software. If you had uploaded one of these firmware versions before 19 March 2018, please re-upload this new firmware build to your USB-microDig or Wi-microDig. In Connect v1.5.1 you can check the build date of your firmware by clicking on the firmware version - after this firmware update the build date should show "2018-03-29".

The Update III
Today, we're releasing oCube v4.0 for Max (and a slightly updated iCube v4.0 for Max). The oCube external object was one of the first plugins we made back in 1995 and we're happy to announce this important update for it. This version includes some powerful features such as automatic syncing with the connected digitizer and support for pulse width modulated (PWM) actuators and digital I2C actuators. More updating is on the way, check back here soon.
